Have you ever fallen so deeply in love with something that you feel it is your duty to tell the entire world? I literally get this urge every single time I use our UPPAbaby VISTA Stroller (confession: I even stop to chat with random strangers about how fab it is). That’s because, in my opinion, it is the perfect set of wheels to transport Little L around the city…
You see, while our condo is filled with a gazillion things for Little L (all of which I’m eternally grateful for), there are products that come and go without notice and others that are LIFE-CHANGING. And no, I’m not being hyperbolic. The UPPAbaby VISTA Stroller is the one piece of baby gear that gets used at least 2/3 times a day in my household and one I’m convinced we could not survive without.
But given its hefty price tag, many parents question whether the stroller is actually worth it — to this, my answer is always YES times a million…
Here Are 8 Reasons Why You Should Invest In An UPPAbaby VISTA Stroller:
1. Quality, Quality, Quality
This is the Rolls-Royce of strollers — truly made to last a lifetime. But I’m not the only one who thinks the quality is superior: I know dozens of parents who’ve used the UPPAbaby VISTA Stroller for multiple babes in their families. All of them agree that it’s sturdy, well-made and chic.
2. It’s Insanely Easy To Maneuver
Some strollers have a mind of their own — you know the type: push one way, they go the other. Not the UPPAbaby VISTA!! This beaut goes exactly where we want it to go with little effort and often using only one hand. And with the all-wheel suspension, it is the smoothest ride ever. We navigate over all kinds of bumps in the city and I swear it feels like the stroller levitates above them.
3. It Grows With Your Family
One of the biggest draws of this stroller is how versatile it is. The UPPAbaby VISTA morphs from the newborn bassinet mode into the single stroller mode AND you also have the option of adding a second RumbleSeat — yup, two babes in one stroller! But wait, they didn’t stop there… if you have a toddler, you can even add a PiggyBack board so three can hitch a ride. These guys literally thought of everything. We used the bassinet from day 1 (Little L loved taking naps inside even when we were at home) and currently use the big-boy seat which can be positioned both rear and front facing. It also reclines with a click of a button so we can change things up throughout the day…
4. It’s Easy To Assemble & Transport
One of the first things we did to prepare for Little L’s arrival was install the MESA car seat and assemble his stroller. The process was really intuitive and fast, but to make sure we did everything safely we also watched the instructional videos on UPPAbaby’s YouTube channel. As for travelling with the stroller, we’ve pretty much done it all: hikes up mountains, airport missions, walks on beaches, treks on snowy hills… We never hesitate to take the stroller because the design is genius: just one click to remove the seat and a one-step fold! And the no-puncture wheels give us confidence to take babes pretty much anywhere we go…
5. Maximum Storage
I didn’t realize how important stroller storage was until I became a mom — especially as an urban mom who walks everywhere and shops along the way. The UPPAbaby VISTA basket is HUGE and can hold up to 30 lbs. Which means all of my groceries, his diaper bag, my jacket etc. fit beneath his seat and free up my hands. Yeay!
6. Functional Details
Yes, the UPPAbaby VISTA is pretty, but every inch of the stroller is designed with functionality in mind. I’m talking extendable SPF 50+ sunshade to protect your LO from the sun, rain shield to protect them from the rain, bug shield, ventilation flaps, foot break, mesh peek-a-boo window so you can see your LO when they’re riding facing outwards… And an entire line of accessories you can add on to make life even easier: Cozy Ganoosh Footmuff, Snack Tray, PiggyBack board etc etc.
7. A Dreamy Bassinet
From the moment we placed Little L inside the bassinet he was in love. In fact, he even preferred to sleep in it when we were at home! Some people buy the bassinet stand, but we just put him on the floor. It’s the perfect size, breathable (has a perforated mattress pad and vented base) and super cozy…
8. It’s Easy To Clean
News flash: babies are messy. I can’t even count the number of times Little L exploded in his bassinet. Thankfully it’s lined with a fabric that’s easy to remove and washable. The RumbleSeat and stroller are also easy to clean — the canopy, seat fabric, basket, frame, harness padding etc. are all washable. Just follow the instructions on the tags. We go on a lot of adventures so it’s really important for us to be able to keep Little L’s ride clean…
I could go on and on AND ON about all the features I love and reasons why you should invest in an UPPAbaby VISTA, but I think you get the point. I call it the forever stroller and really hope you consider it when purchasing your baby’s first ride. You will NOT regret it…
I received the UPPAbaby VISTA and MESA car seat for review purposes. As always, reviews and opinions are my own. I truly love this stroller and would recommend it to all the mamas and papas out there!

December 10, 2019 at 4:25 pmI still dont get the hype…🤷🏻♀️…it doesn’t have anything that other strollers wouldn’t have…its nothing special. If you honestly ask me I dont think it’s very pretty…and functionality wise it’s not anything special…just my opinion.

December 11, 2019 at 9:31 amI didn’t get the hype either, until I got one! Then I started noticing the differences between the strollers my friends/fam have — particularly in the quality, multi-age usage & navigation. I don’t think I’ve ever owned anything made THIS well.

August 29, 2020 at 6:53 pmI don’t understand why a stroller should cost almost $1000. Regardless of how well it does on sidewalk bumps or soothing tired babies, it’s an outrageous amount of money to spend on something you will use for maybe 5 years (if you have more than 1 child). Conspicuous consumption!

August 31, 2020 at 9:09 pmI’ve honestly never used any other product this much in my life. I don’t drive so it’s my “vehicle”. It’s worth every penny.
